Ce prix peut diminuer en fonction de quelques défauts, de son âge ou de sa couleur hors standard. Ce prix comprend donc bien un chaton entièrement vacciné, stérilisé, pédigree, identifié électroniquement et en bonne santé avec un contrat de cession (passeport et rage pour les chatons qui voyagent hors du pays).

Si vous payez plus cher sans ces actes essentiels, ne vous aventurez pas dans votre achat, car vous n'avez aucune garantie que votre chaton est un vrai Lykoï en bonne santé.

Très exceptionnellement et sous contrat, nous vendons aussi des chatons pour élevage. Le prix est fixé à 4000€. Certains sont vendus au delà des US$5000 voir jusqu'à US$10.000, faites attention quand même où vous mettez les pieds, dites vous bien que le prix ne fait pas la qualité, exigez de voir les parents, la chatterie et les tests s'il y a lieue, mais aussi de recevoir un contrat de garantie légal et vérifier l'éligibilité du pedigree.

This price includes a kitten fully vaccinated, sterilized, pedigree, identified electronically and in good health with a contract of assignment (passport and rabies for kittens who travel outside the country). If you pay more without these essential acts, do not buy the cat because you have no guarantee that your kitten is a true Lykoï in good health.

Very exceptionally and with contract, we also sell kittens for breeding. The price is set at €4000. Some are sold beyond US$5000 see up to US$10.000, be careful where you put your feet, tell you well that the price does not make the quality, ask to see the parents, the cattery and the tests, but also to receive a legal guarantee contract.

Normaal is de vraagprijs voor een standaard Lykoi als pet €1800
Deze prijs is bepaald door de oprichters van het ras en wordt wereldwijd gevolgd door andere fokkers. Hierin kan soms een prijsverlaging zijn doordat er afwijkingen zijn in de standaard zoals bvb kleur of leeftijd...
De prijs omvat hier eveneens vaccinatie, castratie/sterilisatie, ontworming, identificatie en registratie bij de erkende kattenregistratie van het land van herkomst. Op deze manier krijgt u de garantie dat u een Lykoi aanschaft die in goede gezondheid verkeert met geteste en gezonde ouders.
Het is bijgevolg steeds belangrijk om na te vragen of de fokker voldoet aan de nodige vereisten bij aanschaf van een kitten, uiteindelijk is de aanschaf niet goedkoop en daarvoor mag je als koper garanties eisen. Indien hier niet aan voldaan wordt raden we u aan om 2 keer na te denken bij de aanschaf van je nieuwe huisgenoot.

Af en toe worden er ook kittens aangeboden voor de fok, hiervan is ook de prijs vastgesteld op €4000. In sommige landen worden hier ondertussen woekerprijzen voor gevraagd die variëren tussen US$ 5000 tot zelfs US$10.000.

Nos premiers éleveurs Européens suivent également un programme d'hybridation afin d'agrandir le pool génétique de la race.
Ce programme consiste à faire un mariage entre le Lykoï et le chat domestique. En première génération, nous retrouverons des F1, des hybrides dits en français des métis. Ces métis auront le look du chat domestique et le caractère du Lykoï.
Après avoir sélectionné le plus beau métis de la portée pour l'ajouter à notre programme d'élargissement du pool génétique, les autres chatons seront donnés, voir placés contre les frais de vétérinaires.
En ce moment nous avons encore beaucoup de programmes divers partout dans le monde. Les reproducteurs choisis sont testés pour de multiples maladies héréditaires avant d'être utilisés dans ce programme.
Vous verrez partout dans le monde ces petits métis porteurs du gène du Lykoï au prix modeste de 150€ à 500€ maximum, comprenant l'entière vaccination des chatons, la stérilisation, les vermifuges, l'identification et l'enregistrement au fichier national félin de son pays ainsi que le pédigree. Pour certains quittant le pays, le vaccin de la rage et son passeport, ce qui justifie la variation du prix.

Le travail accompli par nos éleveurs fondateurs n'a pas été de tout repos.

Our first European breeders are also following a hybrid program to expand the gene pool of the breed.
This program consists of a marriage between Lykoi and the domestic shorthaircat. In the first generation, we will find F1, hybrids called in French "Métis". These hybrids will have the look of the domestic cat and the character of Lykoi.
After having selected the most beautiful hybrid of the litter to add it to our genetic pool enlargement program, the other kittens will be donated, or placed against veterinarians' fees.
At the moment we still have a lot of diverse programs all over the world. The selected breeders are tested for multiple hereditary diseases before being used in this program.
You will see all over the world these small hybrids carrying the Lykoi gene at a modest price of €150 to €500 maximum, including the entire vaccination of kittens, sterilization, deworming, identification and registration in the national cat file of his country as well as the pedigree. For some leaving the country, the rabies vaccine and its passport, which justifies the variation of the price.

The work done by our founding breeders has not been easy.

Onze fokkers in Europa volgen een hybride-programma om de genenpool van het ras uit te breiden.
Dit programma bestaat uit een huwelijk tussen Lykoï en de gedomisticeerde huiskat. In de eerste generatie krijgen we F1, hybriden genaamd met het uiterlijk van de huiskat en het karakter van de Lykoi. Hieruit wordt de mooiste gekozen om deze te gebruiken in het fokprogramma om de genetische poel te vergroten van dit nieuwe ras.
Op dit moment zijn er zo verschillende programma's verspreid over de hele wereld. De geselecteerde fokdieren worden uiteraard getest op meerdere erfelijke ziekten voordat ze in dit programma kunnen worden ingeschakeld.
De overige hybride-kittens worden vervolgens geplaatst aan een prijs variërend tussen €150 en €500. Deze prijs omvat de kosten inzake volledige vaccinatie, castratie/sterilisatie, ontworming, identificatie en registratie bij de erkende kattenregistratie van het land van herkomst (in sommige landen is vaccinatie tegen hondsdolheid en een paspoort verplicht waardoor de prijs kan variëren).

Het werk van onze grondleggers was niet eenvoudig en vraagt nog steeds veel genetische recearch. Om te zorgen dat het ras gevrijwaard blijft van ziektes waar andere rassen spijtig genoeg mee geconfronteerd worden, wordt er steeds onderzoek gedaan naar erfelijke ziektes zoals HCM en andere afwijkingen bij de fokdieren. Dit verklaart ook de prijs van een Lykoi kitten t.o.v. andere rassen.
